Metal, Wood and Glass – Texture, Pattern, Color Palette v.7

I’ve always loved the idea of looking at everyday objects and finding inspiration in them.  I often find myself looking for interesting textures, patterns and colors that evoke an emotion or response from me.  Below is a palette that I recently put together using photos from around my house.  I hope you enjoy it!

That bowl is one of my favorites, it looks different all day long as the light changes.

What a beautiful autumn palette! The processes starting to fold themselves inwards for the coming colder sleep season… slowly turning from bright warm colours into sleepy cool colours. Your tapestry is delightful Katie 🙂

I love the different textures and would not have guessed what the item was until I saw your captions. Love the approach to your pictures!

Thanks! I think that taking macro pictures to find the texture, color or pattern makes it a fun “reveal” with the captions. 🙂

Aw, this was an incredibly good post. Spending some time
and actual effort to generate a very good article… but what
can I say… I put things off a whole lot and
don’t manage to get nearly anything done.
