I’ve always loved the idea of looking at everyday objects and finding inspiration in them. I often find myself looking for interesting textures, patterns and colors that evoke an emotion or response from me. Below is a palette that I recently put together using photos from a local vegan bakery called, Raphsodic Bakery. Don’t let the “vegan” fool you, this was a delicious and sweet treat and it inspired this new palette!

Pretty colours – the pics made me hungry.
I keep seeing it and thinking I want another one!
Inspiration and a snack. Brilliant!
I think that means I should eat more snacks!
That looks so good, especially the vanilla lavender icing yummie! Thanks for following me btw 🙂 I want to follow your blog too, do you have blogloving? How can I follow your blog? Ixx
Hi Ina! There should be a gray “follow” button at the bottom of my blog page or you can follow on bloglovin’ (http://www.bloglovin.com/en/blog/3111419/katie-normal-girl/follow). I’m actually in the process of updating my layout to make all of this following stuff easier. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by and for following me!
Love your palettes, and the sources of your inspiration.
Thanks! And not a bit of that food was wasted! 😉
lol – glad to hear it.
Raphsodic bakery! You must be from Orlando! I used to go there when I was in school 🙂 I’m new here and I’m loving all the palettes you’ve put together 🙂
Yeah, I love that little place! Thanks for the compliment, I really do like finding all of these design elements “hiding” in everyday places.
